well...
Sorry I haven't posted anything in a few days. I really like to update everyday!
Here are my excuses:
1. Batteries died in my camera
2. Was sick in bed most of the weekend
3. School starts next Wed and I have a bit of stuff to get done!
Hope you enjoy my reasons for not crafting this weekend!! LOL! I plan on getting some stuff up by Wednesday so the wait won't be too long. :D

Everyday Paper Dolls Card
I needed a quick card for my little cousin's dedication and I just had gotten this cart so I wanted to play before we went to the party...
I did the face on the flip feature so it would be heading the right way. The teddy bear is from the same cartridge. The text at the bottom was just printed on my computer and added.
Like I said simple... :D

Winter Woodland Scrapbook Page
Looky what I got for my birthday!!!
My birthday was August 18th and my hubby bought me Paper Doll Dress Up.... which I already had.. LOL! But this week AcMoore had cartridges on sale for $39.99 so we exchanged the other cartridge and I got Everyday Paper Dolls & Winter Wonderland!!!
I am thrilled with the new Paper Doll Cart.... but not so much with Winter Wonderland. I wasn't really thinking... it is winter themed.... I don't really do much with that area.... and the font is mixed in the pages so it is a pain to find letters to spell something out. (Unless you have Cricut Designer STudio software..which will make it a bit easier...)

Disney's Monster Inc layout
I had a lot of fun making this layout! I used cricut cart Mickey Font for the M then added flock to it! ( My first time using flock... I used a glue pad to make it stick... but next time I think I would just use my zig pen) Then cut scraps to make an eye! Love how it turned out!!
The top title was from a sticker set, the sign near the M was cut from a pic I took of the sign at Disney... I love doing that because then you get exactly the right look!
Here is a close up of the M
I love comments!!

Paper Bag Album for Austin
My oldest son turned 9 today!!! I still remember the night or rather wee morning hours he was born. I will share a bit because I love the memory! He was breach and my hubby and I were sitting in bed talking to my belly. Telling him "turn, turn" LOL! We were rubbing it rather hard then I felt a trickle.... my water had broke. We both thought we had done something but that wasn't true.. but hey we were new at this! I got rushed to the hospital where he was delievered by C-section.
Ok here is his album and instructions:
I glued the flap (from the part that is the bottom of the bag) down, folded in half, then punched holes in bags.
Strings for binding. Tied through holes.
Decorate each page including the front and back covers & add pics:
You can use the side openings to hide additional pics or journaling:

Woody from Toy Story Disney Paper Doll
More from my Disney Album! I did this paper doll to look just like Woody! I love how he came out. I didn't have ''cow print'' paper so I made my own. Took a black calligraphy marker and just roughly made patches on a piece of white paper. Then cut it out on my cricut. I think the effect was perfect!! Al's Toy Barn is actually a picture I cut... I've been doing that lately when I got places... just taking pics of the signs to use as elements on my pages.

Paper Doll Faces!
I saw an awesome video over at Scrappin Cricut's blog on how to make the easiest faces (without one of those face stamps) I think you all might enjoy and I know I will be using her technique on my next doll!!

Paper Doll Dress Up Elf ~ Christmas Layout
Here is a layout I worked on the other night. I just love PDDU and find I use it as often as possible. I made the Elf at 5 inches so he would really pop. The word Jolly was a sticker I had from ages ago and the sleigh is from PDDU! (Yes there are tons of other shapes besides just dolls on there!!) I made the packages by using my creative memories square punch then just cut some ribbon in half ran it through the mini X xyron and added it. Enjoy!
close up of sleigh:
I used galaxy markers to color the sleigh and then versamark ink for the middle part and a snow flake stamp. (Gave it a watermark image)
close up of elf:
I used DCWV paper for the glittery green paper ~ love it!! I think it was from their spring glitter stack.

Homemade laundry soap
I tried this in June. I made my own laundry soap based on the recipe in The Duggars Book. I liked enough to have another go at it!! So here are the results:
Here is their website with the recipe
I found I like the clean smell quite a bit! I used to use Tide and it cleans just as well. The only thing you have to get used to is that it doesn't suds up as much.
The initial investment is larger because you need a 5 gallon bucket ($6 at Walmart!) a bar of fels naptha soap (99cents), Arm & hammer Washing soda (around $4) and Borax ($8).... However the Washing soda & borax will make tons of buckets of this stuff!! Probably you would need to buy it once a year!!
There are online sales of these products but after I purchase online I found them in my local grocery store!!! So be sure to look there first!!
Ok for the pics!
What the gel looks like (the rest is in my containers!)
All my filled bottles!
8/13/2011 ~ edited to add: I've been doing this laundry soap for some time now. I still 100% love it. I have a few additional tips though.
1. Save up your old laundry containers so you have a few vessels to put it in.
2. I've heard from some other people if you ask at the bakery (walmart/shoprite) they have large 5 gallon buckets that they throw away. You can try to see if they will hold one for you. That would make your initial investment even better!
3. I've found the ingredients at Perks in Pine Hill, Shoprite and Walmart in Magnolia. (NJ stores) so you don't have to go looking around like it did!

Nemo Layout
Disney layouts!
$20 spent at JoAnn's
I have really tried to cut my craft spending down to next to nothing. Owning the cricut really helps with that because I can make most of my own embellishments now with the cuts from there. So no more useless stickers for me!!! :D That said I still need paper!!
Here is what I got on Friday for UNDER $20
