Wild Card #35 - The Father's Day Card

I didn't like this one. (Do I say that a lot?) LOL! I like the card and the square but I was at a loss of what to do besides that.

I inked around the edges, pop-dotted the fish and cuttlebugged the frame.

Thanks for looking!! We will have another card for you on Thursday!

Wild Card #33 ~ The Safety Pin

What a cute card to give to someone! I actually gave this one to my sister-in-law for her baby shower.

Sorry the picture is a lil blurry but the card is LONG gone! LOL! I used scraps I had around to make it so I can't tell you what papers it was.

Wild Card #32 ~ The Cake

So I thought I would hate this card. It is another shape and I felt like it would be limited in what you could do.... but I actually had fun creating it! I even added some dimension at the end!

Photobucket

I used rhinestones I got a pack of at Walmart to decorate the cake and the ribbon at the top is wired so it lays very nice!

Photobucket

Then after I had completed the card I thought it needed something so I added dimensional paint (I used the kind called Glossy Accents) and did a cross pattern and I think it looks like a wedding cake so much more with that detail!

Thanks again for looking & all your kind comments!

Wild Card #31 The Present

This card turned out to be a really cute cut!

I am pretty sure I will use this for a Mother's Day card for either my Aunt or Step-mom.

Wild Card #30 ~ Cupcake

Well, better late than never! It took me until today to get this card done. With the morning sickness (wrongly named because I get mine from about 1pm on....) and then family life I haven't gotten to do anything craft related! I am not just neglecting all of you, but my poor husband has been working overtime trying to keep our home afloat! He is amazing doing laundry, dinner and taking care of our kids. (did I mention he hates when I am pregnant? Because I get so sick!!) I am very Blessed to have him! If you can take a moment to pray for him ~ he really needs it!!

Ok onto my card!

Photobucket

I am still not a huge fan of shape cards and this one is no exception! It is cute enough though. I used various scrap papers for this card and some stickles for the flame.

I also want to send out a thanks to all who are supporting this series! I cherish each comment and love hearing what you have to say! Thanks!!

Wild Card #29 WOW

This is a really cute card. I made mine a few months ago right when we started this series to give to my cousin that was turning 30. I had forgot to buy a card and literally had 20 minutes to put it together and it went perfectly!

# WOW

I cut the WOW from the Wild Card cartridge and the 30's from Cuttin Up (my fav font!)

Hope you enjoyed this installment of Wild Card! See you on Thursday with the next one!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #4!

Well, I don't have a project for this weeks challenge! This pregnancy has been rough with the morning sickness only it isn't in the morning, it starts about noonish and last through the night. Typically I craft at night and on Saturdays.... but when the weather is nice we do family stuff on Sat mornings... burning all my 'good' time.

So I am hoping & PRAYING to feel much better very soon so I can get back to doing my crafting ( and cooking/cleaning lol).

So while I didn't get a project done the FCCB Design Team did a great time with this weeks theme :

the word is "Happy"

the shape is a "Flower"

Be sure to head over and check it out! http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/

Easter Favors for my kid's classmates

I made these awhile ago for the kid's classmates. I used the Easter 2010 cart for the box and DCWV papers. The paper gave me such a hard time staying together. I used my ATG but the adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold? So last night I sat up and used my scotch quick dry to re-glue the entire set... of 17 of them! The stamp was from the $1 section at AC Moore (I think or Micheals). I really like the Easter 2010 cart it has just enough stuff on it to make it worth the $25 retail price.

Hope you enjoy!

Wild Card #28 ~ The Star

Another shape card! I had this huge idea for this card but nothing went as I would like so I ended up with this instead! LOL!

My card:

Photobucket

I used papers from Martha Stewart and Cosmo Cricut. I have to say I loved MS cardstock. It is thick like stampin up. I will definitely buy more of it!
