This was such a fascinating read! We follow Mallory someone who really wants to do some big good thing for someone. Particularly saving a life. She basically leaves her life behind to travel to a far off country in hopes of attaining that goal. She disregards reason, advice and her families wishes and pays a hefty penalty. It is a strong reminder that not everyone is who they say they are online and that we should really use some good old fashioned common sense! Thankfully there is a happy ending but I have a feeling that in real life this happens more than not and without the happy ending. This book gives an inside glance at the world outside of Christianity. We are forced to take a look at the Muslim faith and see it through our Christian eyes.
