We've done Disney frugally and we done it Regally! Both options are super fun and even if you are trying to save money it doesn't have to feel cheap at Disney - especially with these tips!
Eat Breakfast In Your Room
One of the easiest ways to save money is to eat easy breakfasts in your room. You can do granola bars, yogurt, and even oatmeal. Have some fruit and your set. You can even get groceries delivered to your door with a service like Gardengrocer.com.Use your Target Red Card
That Target Red Card is one of the best things in the world! It saves you 5% on almost any purchase at target. Well, you can buy Disney Gift cards at target and get a 5% savings. Then you use your gift cards to pay for your trip. This can be a significant savings! And it is easy!! (You don't have to have a credit card with Target - they also offer a debit card version that links to your regular checking account).Split Meals
Yeah I know this one sounds cheesy but honestly the amount of food you get for one Quick Service (non-sit down) meal is insane. Disney is for the foodies and they give you huge portions. Splitting a meal between two kids or a little kid with an adult will save you money.Bring your own souvenirs
Target sells glow sticks in the dollar section. Stock up and bring them for the night time parades. Buy Disney themed clothing and bring it with you to wear. A $7 shirt at Walmart with Mickey on it will be $20+ in the parks. Having things for the kiddos ahead of time will save time and money.
