Beauty Reviews - IT Cosmetics

I'm going to be starting a new but somewhat sporadic feature here on A Rup Life - showcasing some of the fabulous beauty finds. I have always had a love affair with makeup and skin care. I remember wearing blue eye shadow to Kindergarten! (It was in the 80s!!)

Today I want to share my thoughts on a few products from IT Cosmetics.

If you like to watch QVC then you have probably seen this company presenting.

The presentation of their CC Cream and Bye Bye Under Eye Cream is pretty impressive. Pretty much any skin problem it is supposed to eradicate.

So I took the plunge and purchased the Today's Special a few weeks back.

It came with a blush, foundation, foundation refill and two brushes.

CC+™ Veil Beauty Fluid Foundation SPF 50+

This is one of those sponge foundations where you dip your brush into the product. The formula is thin and lightweight. I liked this formula and the foundation. It is a medium coverage for me. It was not drying or cakey looking at all. I was pretty impressed. It is a little tricky to apply with it being so wet and the brush is a must. I much prefer to use my digits when applying foundation but the brush makes this application a breeze. I'm not sure I would repurchase this when it is used up because it is pretty pricey for the amount of product you get. The CC in the tube is essentially the same product but more concentrated and a better value.

CC+® VITALITY BRIGHTENING CRÈME BLUSH

This was the blush that came with the kit. At first I loved it. It is a cream blush so you need a special brush to use - but that was in the kit as well.  This looks awesome on and it is easy to build color so you can achieve a light or dark look. My problem with it is it doesn't last. After an hour it is melted into my skin. (Maybe I'm too dry?) I've tried it over the foundation before setting powder and after setting powder. It still fades too fast for my liking.

 Brand Thoughts:

I really do like this brand. The brushes I've received are beautiful! I wish they were not so costly. Since this box I've purchased 4 more products from the line. Two were from the samples in the box (smart move!) I've been using them for a little bit of time and I will share later my thoughts.  I would love to get a few more of their brushes but I honestly they are out of budget unless in a kit like this one.  Overall my skin does look really nice with both products and I love that they tout themselves as skin care - so I know it is helping my skin when it is on too!
