 One of the things we get asked as homeschoolers is how will our children graduate. In our state it is fairly easy - complete high school level courses , then Mom creates a transcript and a diploma. That is only one part of 'graduation'. I think it is a two fold question, people want to know what we will do as far as the ceremony part - after all graduation is a big milestone for our kids.  For our family we take graduation pretty serious. It is the end goal of our home schooling. We plan a big ceremony with grandparents. Our children will be expected to stand up and give a speech and their Dad and I will give a brief account of their school time. There will be some hoopla around the event. This is a beautiful high school diploma with a cover. There were several ways to personalize the diploma along the way by picking out your seal, adding the student's personal information, school information, wording and font options, verse or motto (including an option to add your own), graduation date and parent or teacher signatures, paper choice, honors seal options, cover colors choice and personalized name.

They also offer a few add-ons like a wallet sized copy and a full size copy for an additional price. 

We had our graduating son help choose all the options because I wanted it to be something he liked. It was fairly easy to go online and the checkout walked you through each selection giving you options and even some insight on what to pick along the way. For our diploma we picked a very basic and classic look. My son' wanted a navy cover.  I was pleased with the overall options and the selections my son ultimately picked. 

We were also sent a two invitation samples to see what the invitation  options were like. These were high quality printed on heavy card stock. They had several extras like date stickers, name plaques cards and venue cards. This was something I hadn't really put much thought into until seeing the samples. I know that we will be ordering invitations for our family and friends in the future as it really adds to the specialness of the occasion and I know the grandparents will love the formality of receiving a full formal invite.  (In the days of facebook and evites - real hand held mail is a true gem)

My Thoughts:

I'm so thrilled with the quality of this diploma. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is very important that our children have some items to remember their schooling years and a physical diploma is truly the crowing jewel of a school career. They online ordering was fast and the end product looks fantastic.
