Our Presidents & Their Prayers by Rand Paul #bookreview

I'm starting to plan out our American History curriculum for next year and my older boys have asked for more reading. They love learning about our country and the great men that helped shape it. I'm so excited to include Our Presidents & Their Prayers: Proclamations of Faith by America's Leaders by Rand Paul and James Randall Robinson.

about:

What is the single most important common thread that unites all American Presidents - such a small number of extraordinary people from different centuries, parties, backgrounds and experiences - as they shoulder the overwhelming responsibilities of the office of President of the United States? There is only one possible answer: their faith.
As a respected national leader and a man of deep faith himself, Senator Rand Paul has written OUR PRESIDENTS & THEIR PRAYERS in collaboration with James Randall Robison to remind us all that in a country founded by religious people, that abiding and rock-solid belief in God has been the key to each and every president's strength.

My Thoughts:

This is a beautiful hard bound book. Each president is represented with excerpts from famous speeches and their prayers. Paul adds additional introductory information for each president to give you a feel for the time and their place in history. I feel like this book gives a truly personal glace at each man something that I believe will enhance our American History studies next fall. I know my boys will be devouring this awesome book.

You can get your copy of Our Presidents & Their Prayers at your local bookstore or online at stores like Amazon.   Be sure to check Hachettebookgroup.com for additional information.
