8th Grade Graduation

 I cannot believe that we will have another highschooler in the fall. When we started this journey of homeschooling it was just for one year. Now we are completing our 4th year. We are celebration 8th grade graduation this week. My son will get a diploma to document his achievement and we bought him a nice graduation gift (not sharing here in case he actually reads my blog!)




 We want this moment to be special to him - as he is special to us. I still remember his babyhood. He cried a lot and we held him a bunch. He was sensitive and caring. Those qualities have grown in the teen years and his is a compassionate young man. I see it with how he cares and loves his two little brothers.

I'm so proud of my man. He is bright, kind and becoming very confident. He has learned so much and has a desire to continue to learn. He has a clear path set for high school including going to culinary school. That means lots of hard work in math and science in the upcoming years but I'm confident he can do it.
