Matters of the Heart 52-Week Scripture Memorization Challenge For Women!

I am so excited to share with you this awesome treasure. I was lucky enough to receive a digital copy of Matters of the Heart 52-Week Scripture Memorization Challenge For Women a few weeks back and I've been enjoying this challenge tremendously. It is so much more than a scripture challenge - even though it is that too. It is also a beautifully written study/devotional for each verse. It is designed to read the verse and devotional on the first day then to reflect on the verse as well as a call to action and memorizing the verse. By the end of the book you will have memorized 52 verses.


I had been looking for something that was doable for my personal devotional time and this has been a perfect fit. I am able to do the basic reading once a week then use the rest of the week to work on committing the verse to heart through the rest of the week. Let's face it, as Moms, we are busy and we need to have realistic expectations on what we can accomplish but we don't want to skimp on our time with the Lord or the quality of that time. This study/challenge has really helped me in that area. I plan on having my kids memorize along with me in our upcoming homeschool year as well - they have already been intrigued by all the scripture cards  I've put up to help me with the memorization. I'm honestly loving this challenge as it is short and sweet and leaves me time to do my regular bible reading and prayer time too.

I'm also extremely pleased that the scripture is all done in KJV. It is a rare gem to find a book that is in KJV - which is the bible version we use at home. Normally I have to keep my bible next to me but this time that is not the case! Author Carlie Kercheval has put together something truly special and I am so happy to share this with you all.
