I know Christmas books already, but honestly when the opportunity came up to read this book for review I just couldn't resist. I love books set around the holidays. I like to read them during the season then pack them away and re-read them again the next year.
God Bless Us Every One has a bit of a Charles Dicken's Christmas Carole feel and even includes quotes from the play for each chapter. It is about redemption and forgiveness all set in a sweet time around Christmas. The main character Charlie has internal struggle with the past and seeing how people can grow and change. Can she open up to her loved ones and make some personal growth too? This book is short and sweet, and I really like the setting.
