Pug Meets Pig Book Review & Giveaway! #WIN

Ever have someone come into your life and your not so sure it is a good fit? Then as time goes by you realize that they've grown on you and you've become best friends? That is the basic story of Pug meets Pig by Sue Lowell Gallion. See adorable Pug gets a sibling Pig. Pig worms her way into everything Pug does and it really starts to bother Pug. Until one day Pug realizes how much he loves Pig's company and that is when they start to share their wonderful life.

This book makes me think of a little one getting a new sibling. At first it seems like it is going to be the most wonderful thing - every one is saying so. However a few weeks in big brother realizes that little usurper isn't going away and is hogging everything. Then as time passes the two siblings form their bond and the duo is inseparable! (Maybe this is thought is coming from the fact that our littlest is now 11 months old and his favorite people are his big brothers!)

About:

An Unlikey pair - a pug and a pig!- realize that it's better to be together.

Pug is a very happy pup. He has his own yard and his own bowl and even his own cozy bed. That is until Pig moves in and starts eating from Pug's bowl interrupting  Pug's routine and worst of all, sleeping in Pug's bed. Will Pug and Pig ever learn to live together as friends?

This sweet and silly story about a darling duo celebrates the timeless themes of embracing change, being kind to other and finding friends in unlikely places.

We really enjoyed this book. I used it during our school time as our read aloud. Then we did a craft that was a wooden pig colored. There is also a fabulous set of coloring pages and printables that are perfect for the younger set!  I love that they created these to go along with the book. It is really adorable, I know many of my pug-loving friends will love this but it will be a hit for dog lovers in general!

One lucky winner will receive a copy of PUG MEETS PIG plus some treats for your favorite pooch (or pig!)--a goodie bag of dog biscuits and a tennis ball! (U.S. addresses; one entry per person.)
