PSALMS TO COLOR AND SOOTHE THE SOUL Review & Giveaway #ad

I love to color. There is something so therapeutic about taking the time to sit and mix colors on a page. I love the process of choosing what goes together and what the end product looks like. I don't get as much time to create intricate crafts or to scrapbook, I have found coloring to be a nice replacement. It is easy and you don't need much more than a pack of colored pencils and a book with some great pictures to fill in.

Psalms to Color and Soothe the Soul is pretty much a prefect choice for me. I love the beautiful fonts chosen for each of the Psalms. The added details on the page really complete the overall pictures.

About the book:
Psalms to Color and Soothe the Soul allows readers to express their praise for God by coloring in 47 beautiful scenes that include passages from the Book of Psalms. The floral patterns, nature scenes, and imaginative designs provide ample opportunity to engage in joyful coloring that will inspire and soothe the devoted reader's soul. Simply add your own personal touch of color to the illustrations, and you will be rewarded with bliss.

Prayers to Color & Brighten Your Day is another wonderful book from the same illustrator Felicity French. This one features a mixture of scriptures and hymns. It is honestly impossible to choose. I plan on buying a frame to fit this size so I can hang up some of my creations.

WIN WIN WIN
One lucky reader will win a copy of Psalms to Color and Soothe the Soul!!

  5. My favorite is Psalms 23. My family has used it a lot in recent weeks since my Dad's unexpected passing. The day he died (he was a minister) he had been reading from Psalms 116. Verse 15- Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.- was highlighted. We left his Bible open to that verse, on his casket. It has been a great comfort to us, knowing that was what he was reading.
