Summer Reading: Beginner's Bible Collection & Giveaway #ad

My littlest son just loves books. He loves to sit and look at them or carry them around. When I received this sweet collection from The Beginner's Bible, I knew he would just love them. As you probably know these books include bright colorful pictures from various stories in the bible. The people and animals have the sweetest faces. These illustrations bring the bible alive to our littlest readers. I love sharing God's Word with my children and having tools like this collection help. I'm always amazed at how much my 6 year old remembers from our short story times. We were talking about some thing and he piped in with, "that's just like in the bible." It made my momma's heart soar to hear him make the connection from the current topic to the character in the bible.

Noah and the Noisy Ark is a board book with a built in handle. This is very convenient for little hands to hold. The story starts with Noah being a good man and shares how the rest of the world just wasn't. Then Noah builds his ark and the animals come. Last we see God's promise with His rainbow in the sky. This is a perfect retelling for our youngest fans. My little guy cherishes this book and likes to point at the animal's faces. At just 18 months he doesn't understand the story yet but I know we are building a firm foundation for his future.

The Beginner's Bible for Little Ones is another board book - which means it is durable. There are 8 stories in this book from the Beginning to Jesus' resurrection. This is a nice starting point of introducing God's Word to younger children. The stories are not too long but there is some meat to each one so that the child gets the full story from the selections of scripture.

Stories Included:

  • The Beginning (Genesis 1)
  • Noah's Ark (Genesis 6-9)
  • The Mean Giant (1 Samuel 17:1-51)
  • Daniel and the Lions (Daniel 6)
  • An Angel Visits Mary (Luke 1:26-38)
  • Baby Jesus Is Born (Luke 2:1-7)
  • Jesus Feeds Thousands (Matthew 14:13-22; Mark 6:30-44; Luke 9:10-17; John 6:1-15)
  • Jesus is Alive (Matthew 26-28; Mark 14-16; Luke 22-24; John 18-20)

Carry-Along Treasure is a different book altogether because it isn't a board book. This features a hard cover with a magnetic closure and a handle to carry it along with you. The inside of the book has regular pages - so it is for kids a bit older. The stories are a step up too. They are a bit longer and perfect for the taking the stories further as your child matures. It features 26 stories combined from the Old and New Testament.

Stories Included:

  • The Beginning
  • Adam and Eve
  • The Sneaky Snake
  • Noah's Ark
  • A Baby in a Blanket
  • The Burning Bush
  • Ten Plagues
  • The Red Sea
