Fall Themed Birthday Party

My youngest two are born only 2 days apart. Last year we celebrated their birthdays almost 2 months apart because we always do a big special 1st birthday. This year I knew I wanted to combine them and do something fun. I had never done a fall themed party and it seemed like the perfect theme for an October party. (Their actual birthdays are in November but it gets cold that weekend for outside parties.)

My parents graciously allowed us to have the party in their backyard. It was the perfect space. The weather was perfect and even on the hot side. The only negative of the day was the bees were rough. They always are at the end of the season.

We had a little pumpkin patch and the kids came and picked out a pumpkin to paint.

I got the little paint well holders off of Amazon. The paints for 2/$1 at walmart and I got a cheap paintbrush set off of Amazon too.

After painting we had a scarecrow craft I found at Hobby Lobby. I also got the pumpkin bags there too.

Most of the actual party supplies were things we had on hand or bought at the dollar store. They had big serving trays and bowls that were perfect.

The pumpkin pinata was one of the things J-man asked for. We found this gem at the Party Supply store.

Overall it was a fun party. I personally love doing a theme. The pumpkin patch was so cute and easy to do. I couldn't find a sign in the store so I made one.
