Breakfast with Santa at Sahara Sam's Water Park in NJ!!!

Last weekend we were hosted at Sahara Sam's Oasis for a wonderful event. We first had a breakfast with Santa that included a wonderful buffet featuring eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pastries, bagels fruit and cereal. There was also assorted drinks. As we enjoyed our breakfast, Santa made his way to the room and went from table to table talking to each of the families as well as taking pictures. There were about 25 tables in the room, which made the entire time feel very intimate and special.

After making his table rounds Santa then went to an area set up for him to share a story. The kids gathered in their seats and hung on every word. I've never seen a more polite and well-behaved ground of children before. It was lovely. Santa even complimented the group as they took turns to come up and visit. Each child was able to sit on Santa's lap and share their Christmas list as Mom and Dad took a candid picture.

We choose to dress in our holiday t-shirts and get changed after our breakfast and visit with Santa. Sahara Sam's has plenty of areas to change and lockers to store your stuff if you need it. After that we hit the water park. I have a large age range with littles and teens. The two teenagers took off on their own for a bit to do the water slides. The 2 year old went straight to the splash area and my 7 year old was headed to the Tim-buk-tu Adventure land (which features slides and a big bucket that dumps water every few minutes.)

Not too long after we were enjoying our fun time, Santa came out decked in his Hawaiian shirt and swim trunks! Then for the next few hours he proceed to hang out with the kids and enjoy the attractions.

One of the most special times of the day was when my son (7) and I were in the lazy river and Santa come floating by. He floated with us for a bit and noticed that J-man was missing his top two front teeth. Santa then sang the song ' All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth' - I know he will remember this for the rest of his life.

I can't speak highly enough about our wonderful experience. This was more amazing than I thought because we spent real time with Santa. The kids loved being around him (of course!) and you could tell he loved being with them (of course!) I love that we had this special memory that will be cherished. The intimate setting of the breakfast and the opportunity to swim with Santa was truly unique. My son has told everyone he sees about it and honestly hasn't stopped talking about it.
