This was a delightful summer read. It had just enough suspense to keep you wanting to find out what happens to our poor lovebirds Brianna and Gilbert. James O'Leary - Brianna's Dad and Gilbert's guardian - has plans for both of these young people. His desperation just might lead them to unhappiness and lives with unfulfilled dreams. I love how the characters worked through the tough times they faced and how they searched out emotions to get the life they wanted.
