Jesus Today Devotions For Kids Review : #JesusTodayKids #FlyBy

We have been reviewing the Jesus Today Devotions For Kids by Sarah Young, these past few weeks. Since we are homeschoolers we've been using this book during our school devotional time. (Which is the three older kids and I - ages - 15, 13, 5.)  I really like how simple to use this book is. It is open and go which is exactly what I need with a infant in the mix. The topics are simple but they lend to great discussions. Each  devotion is numbered so it is easy to keep track of where you are. Each day is a short read with bible verses to go along with it.  We use the KJV bible in our home so I just have that along with this book to cross reference the verses (if you are a KJV family as well.) The first day devotional is My Kind of Hope - had a pretty awesome impact on my 5 year old and he asked Jesus to be his Savior! I'm not sure he quite understands it but the bible talks about childlike faith and I think this is exactly that!

About Jesus Today: Devotions for Kids

Jesus is the Friend who is always with you.  Jesus Today: Devotions for Kids will pour this powerful truth into your children's hearts as they learn that He knows everything about them and loves them more than they can imagine.  Each devotion is based on Scripture and is written as though Jesus is speaking directly to you, assuring that He is in control, that He is good, and that an amazing future awaits all who put their hope in Him.  Adapted from the ECPA 2013 Christian Book of the Year-winner Jesus Today, this devotional has the same themes as the adult version, as well as written-out scriptures.  It is a great choice for families to read and discuss during devotional time together.
