It's All About Eyes - Hard Candy Brand Review

 This week I'm going to share with you some of my favorite new products from Hard Candy - with a focus on EYES! I think there are two main things that really set your eyes when doing your full face. That is eyeliner and eyebrows. I think this might be the area most people struggle with when learning how to do full face makeup. For me I learned two ways - trial and error and watching youtube videos. That was the first steps in achieving my day and night go to looks.

The second thing you need is quality products. It doesn't matter how much time you put into your look if the product doesn't stick. I use eye primer every day to get my shadow to stay all day and night. I'm so excited to try these Eyes the Limit Shadow primers.  I received Smokey and Shimmer. The smokey gives the lightest tint that will be perfect for those darker shadows while shimmer does just that - it has a bit of sparkle. Both go on creamy and dry to a light powder and are great bases for shadow.

I was also sent Walk The Line liquid liner. This is a light blue glittery liner that is beautiful. It is very buildable which I really like. This is perfect for accenting a dramatic look when going out. Lots of glam and glitter here!

The Highlight Contour Facial Duo Stick was an interesting product for me. The double ended stick features a light side and dark side. Each product goes on creamy and is very blendable. I've just started to venture into highlight and contour so this is something I'm still experimenting with. So far it is very easy to use. I apply a tad bit in the corner of my eye and just under my brow bone of the lighter side for that light that effect. Then for the darker side I dab a little on the hallow of my cheek and along the hair line and blend well with my fingers. Lots of fun with this one.

Brows Now Ultimate All-In-One Eyebrow kit is the star of the show. This little set is everything you need for defining brows. It includes two colors of powder so you can customize. Then on the opposite side is a setting wax and a highlighter. In the center is a little mirror and two brushes. Truth be told the mirror was a little small but other than that I love this kit. It will travel well and the two colors is perfect for blending.
