Summers at the Jersey shore are something that I fondly remember growing up fairly close to the ocean. I found this album fascinating because it is inspired by those memories. There are even mentions of landmarks in the songs like Day At The Beach mentions the Parkway - a famous road everyone uses to get to the shore. Oh, and why do I keep calling it "The Shore"? That's a Jersey thing too!
Jason Didner and The Jungle Gym Jam bring the sounds of the Jersey shore to their new album Lollipop Motel. Inspired by the nostalgic trips and Jersey artist like Springsteen this cd is the soundtrack of the summer.
Lollipop Motel will donate a portion (10%) of the sales of this album to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia - Cape May/HarborView location.

I love the thoughts behind the songs on this cd. It has that classic rock feel with a family friendly approach. The Ultimate Frisbee has the best opening with guitar starting. This is one you'll want to jump up and rock along with! I also loved Jersey Dinosaur. This album is fresh, fun with modern twist on late 70s and early 80s feel. This combination will appeal to all ages. Perfect for popping in the CD player and listening to on your way to the shore!
