Liberty Science Center Exhibit: Curious George: Let's Get Curious! + 4 Pack Pass Giveaway!

This past Saturday the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City hosted a few blogger families. During this time we got to experience the new Curious George: Let's Get Curious exhibit. This is an awesome hands on experience perfect for the younger set. Everywhere my 5 year old explored there was something to see, touch or do!

L-Man playing peek-a-boo with George!

One of the things that really appealed to my son was all of the stuff he could make. One section had an architect area. He was able to put on a hat and jacket then sit at a lighted table and create.

Another area had scissors, hole punches, paper and straws so that the kids could create pinwheels and air-sock kites. (This section had an attendant to help the kids). Jace would have spent hours here if we let him. He loves making crafts and this was probably his favorite thing of the day!

There was a slide, places to crawl and explore. Seriously, this area of the museum had a lot to offer for little kids.

The Curious George: Let's Get Curious exhibit runs from September 17, 2016 - January 8, 2017. There are also a few special dates when you can meet George! October 1, November 11, November 25, December 28,  and December 29.

Our whole family had a blast at the museum. This was the first time we had been. It was very easy to get to from South Jersey and even better was a big parking lot which was so convenient. When you enter the building it is big - like huge! We were there on a Saturday and even though there was a crowd it didn't feel overwhelming. I believe the sheer size of the building and spacing of exhibits was planned well.

We enjoyed the huge gift shop that had some of the best science based tshirts I've ever seen. If you have a kid into science - this is the place to shop for him. We also had a bite to eat from the cafeteria which featured sandwiches, small salad bar, pizza, burgers and more. The selection wasn't huge but the food was freshly made and our family had no trouble finding something they liked.

Just like science is always learning and changing - the Liberty Science Center features some traveling exhibits that have limited engagements. We did the  Bodies Revealed exhibit which was pretty amazing. I have to say that as a homeschooling mom I'm so glad I shared this experience with my older kids. The body is truly an amazing thing and to see them up close was fascinating! (this exhibit does have a separate ticket required).
