A Healthier Way to Make Hot Wings - At Home

My cousin Steve shared on facebook how their family revamped traditional deep fried hot wings to a healthier choice. I was intrigued because we love hot wings! Making them at home is tedious when having to deal with the hot oil so we rarely ever make them.  His way eliminates that step and makes them an overall better choice. I asked his permission to share and all the pictures are credited to Steve as well. I hope you enjoy!

Bring a pot of water to boil. Add in a bag or two or either fresh or frozen chicken wings. Boil for ten minutes!

Drain and dry well. Add to a baking sheet.

Place in a preheated 450 degree oven and bake for 30 minutes. Or for a crispier wing go for 40 minutes.

Place the hot wings in a bowl and grab your favorite hot wing sauce. Steve uses Sweet Baby Rays.

Pop on a lid and give a good toss.

Don't those look delicious!

Enjoy!
