What's In A Name? #review

 One of the first bible verses I learned when I got saved was Proverbs 22:1 - A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold. When I first learned this I thought it referred to an actual meaning of a name rather than character. Of course as I grew I learned what the real meaning (character) was. However this verse has always been special to me. When it came to naming my kids it was something that struck with me. Some names have some negative connotations. Like Lucifer often brings thoughts to satan and Jezebel would be another some people would avoid because of her role in the bible. Picking a name for my children was hard because I took this verse and applied it. I wanted a name my children would love when they grew old and would have fond thoughts of.

How It Works:

The process for ordering is a tad bit different than I would have expected. The best way to get started is to email or use the chat window on the site to contact the Dehnart family. I spoke with John using both ways to start my browsing process. At first I just asked about my son's name. He quickly was able to give me the name meaning and bible verse. Through the process he also gave me mine - even though I did not request it. I have to say this was the smartest thing he could have done. I connected with my name meaning and verse more so than my sons. It got me all interested in all of my kids names and even our surnames.  After you get your person information then you go on to order the products your interested in. For this review I was able to pick a 5x7 framed print. I ended up with seven 8x10 framed prints. This was kind of shocking to me but once I got into the name meanings I couldn't stop! I ended up with gifts for my four sons, one for my parents and one for my husband's parents. Then I added in a print for our last name as well.

You can call them directly to order or use the online system. Any questions will be handled and there are multiple discounts offered depending on your order size. For me the best way was to handle all of this via email and get a total then pay by paypal.

I'm going to share three of the prints with you because the four boys are a surprise for Christmas I'm keeping those secret. (My parents and inlaws don't read my blog because they are not computer people - so they won't see their gift until Christmas!)

Because these are gifts I haven't hung them yet. I think this one is actually going to be the one we keep for our home.

Or maybe we will keep this one. It is honestly hard to decide!

 I think this might be my favorite out of all the ones we received. 

What Did We Think

I honestly am in love with this company and product. The customer service was outstanding. They packaged these perfectly as well. It is truly a unique gift idea that I think will appeal to so many. The meanings with biblical meanings give you a deeper connection to God's Word. I wasn't expecting that and it is a wonderful bonus. The prints are stunning with bright colors. The frames are nice and I liked that I didn't have to go looking for frames for each one but if you are looking to save you could skip that part. I however enjoyed the convenience of having everything done for me. My only complaint is the website is a bit intimidating. I'm not sure how that could be remedied because there is a lot of information and details that go into picking your completed project. I just felt that it was a little hard to wrap my head around the ordering process. Maybe if you could click on each step after picking a print that might make it a bit easier. I really liked that there were bonus bookmarks and discounts with larger orders. It was a nice touch. So this was a bit hit with me - I can not wait to give the gifts at Christmas. I have a few more things I would like to get as gifts in the future as well.
