#ad Book Review: Making Faces: A First Book of Emotions

I have been looking for Making Faces: A First Book of Emotions - all my life! Well, maybe not all my life but over the years when I've had babies I've wanted a book just like this. I'm so excited to have it in hand and read it with my 1 year old. He is all about listening to books and I like that he will learn all the different emotions through a fun interactive story. The book shows the baby's face with an emotion -happy- then the next page has them look for that 'happy' baby in a group of baby faces. Super cute! At the end there is a mirror which he loves. What kid doesn't like looking at themselves!!

About:

This baby is happy. Can you make a happy face? Find thehappy baby! This bold, beautiful board book features six essential facial expressions: happy, sad, angry, surprised, silly, and sleepy. The idea is simple: Show a large, establishing image of a baby’s face, then children making the same face, then ask the reader to find that baby among several other faces. The very last spread includes all of the baby faces and a mirror so babies can watch themselves make every face imaginable.

You can get your copy of Making Faces at your local book retailer or online at stores like Amazon.
