Pipsticks Subscription Review!

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know I love stickers! I often share the neat stickers we are using in our homeschool on there. I have fond memories of collecting stickers from my childhood. My Aunt would take my cousins and I to the mall and there were two stores that had big sticker racks filled with rolls and rolls of stickers. She would buy a whole bunch then we would go home and fill our sticker books.

When I started homeschooling I started collecting stickers again. I have a bunch and often get them in the dollar store or the dollar section at target. Those are fun and nice but I was looking for some more unique ones - like I had when I was little. (Oh how I miss Lisa Frank Stickers!!) I started looking around and stumbled upon a review on My Subscription Addiction featuring Pipsticks.

Pipsticks is a monthly sticker subscription. They have a kids and a grown up subscription and two sizes a Classic ($14.95) and a Petite ($9.95). I chose the the Kid's Classic and that is what I will be featuring in this review.

What you receive is a neat envelope (pictured at the top) filled with the following:

  • 15+ sheets of stickers
  • 1 postcard
  • 4 sheets of craft paper
  • 1 Sticker Club newsletter
  • 1 fun coloring sheet
  • 1 VIP raffle ticket

Here is my April subscription:

There was a welcome letter that was a nice edition it is on the back of the coloring sheet. The letter tells you to keep your ticket because next month there will be a drawing and you might have the lucky winner. Not sure what you win, but I imagine it will be stickers! Which sounds good to me!

As You can see there is a postcard with a stamp. We will be using those to send to loved ones during writing in school.  Those owl stickers are my favorite. I think I'll be keeping those for myself! You also get a few sheets of colored paper which is perfect for decorating with some of the stickers.

The monkey stickers were a big hit! I love the bright colors on the stars and they are great for reward charts.

The music stickers are puffy and the carnival stickers are shiny with clear backs. I love the carnival stickers but the puffy ones are harder for me to use in school because of the bulk. We will most likely use them for a project.

The coloring sheet is adorable and my son loves dinosaurs so it is a hit with him. I loved the little face stickers too.

I loved these smaller sheets of stickers. They really reminded me of the kind of stickers I would buy when I was little. We used the desserts and frogs up the week we got them!

So overall I'm pretty pleased with this subscription. While it might be a little costly - for me it is something we will use in our homeschool. I put stickers on each work page that Jace does 'good' work on. Plus we use a few reward charts and he has a big piece of poster board on his door to display his favorite stickers. My only disappointment was seeing repeats in my subscription. Let me elaborate. I've been following the reviews on My Subscription Addiction and I realized that what I received was very different than theirs for the month of April. So that means if you subscribe you could end up with something completely different than me. As I looked further I saw some of my stickers in previous reviews on their site. Now from a business standpoint this makes sense. I get that they would want to use up the stickers in their stock. I just wish I had known that I was getting a subscription that was essentially 'curated' just for me and if that is the case maybe we could opt out of certain types of stickers (like say puffy ones.) Just my thoughts - but believe me it didn't stop me from keeping my subscription. I will be watching the mail at waiting for the next envelope which is due in a few days!

What do you think of Pipsticks?
