Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children #bookreview

Looking for a creepy read for Halloween then you need to check out the Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children series. This is a young adult series that has just the tiniest bit of creep. The author - Ranson Riggs - was inspired by old peculiar photographs he came across. Taking those as inspiration he created a fantastic magical tale of peculiar people. Each having their own unique abilities.

It took me a long time to dive into this series because I don't like horror and I really thought this was going to be too scary for me. However it was just the perfect amount. It wasn't really scary but there are some bad guys that come up. Yes the photos could be seen as frightening but once you read the story the characters who are in the pictures bring them to life and there is no scary.

This book series is perfect for kids who love fantasy. The movie is good but the books are as always so much better. With it being Halloween season I definitely recommend checking these out!
