Book Review: A Chip Off The Old Block

 My 2nd grader is really interested in landmarks - A Chip Off the Old Block was a cute story about a little rock that travels all the way to Mount Rushmore. He visits his 'rock' cousins - Mount Etna, Half Dome, Devil's Tower and more along the way. He dreams of being important like his famous cousins and in the end he gets to help out at Rushmore. This is book was a neat way to learn about different rock forms and well known rocks.
