THE MAGICAL LAND OF BIRTHDAYS is aimed at kids ages 8-12 and introduces readers to diverse but relatable birthday customs and traditions, supporting the message that even though we’re all different, we’re all the same in many ways.  It includes illustrations, baking tips and creative writing prompts to create a kid-friendly package.

The story follows the character Amirah, who receives a mysterious cookbook called The Power of Sprinkles days before her eleventh birthday, and she has a feeling it’s something special. After baking a new special cake, Amirah is transported to the Magical Land of Birthdays, a place filled with wonder and whimsy (and plenty of cake!), where she meets her “B-Buds,” Mei and Elvis—kids who share her exact birthday. As they explore the magical land, Amirah and her friends learn about each other and the special bond they share.

✨🌈AHHHHHHHH JUST GOT MY FIRST COPY OF #MagicalLandofBirthdays and I’m soooooo EXCITED!!!!! 2 books in one year this is MADNESS!!! ✨Growing up I loved books that took me to an imaginary place, a happy place, and this book does just that!!! I know it’s a middle grade series but if you know me you know I’m basically 10 years old and can’t wait to share this book with anyone who has a birthday!!!!! YES THATS EVERYONE! 🎂Because we all have birthdays and that makes us all human so I think the birthday connection is pretty special! Of course I threw in some baking tips and lots and lots of MAGIC!
