I feel like fall is holiday season. To me it begins in September with apples and cooler weather, then we have Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. I love creating a warm inviting place in my home and scent is a big part of that. When you walk into my home I want it to feel cozy and smell amazing. I love burning candles as they provide both the atmosphere and the aroma.
I was recently sent Amber Vale Home's Holiday Sampler. This included three unique 4 oz candles with a wooden wick. I've never used a wooden wick candle but it is truly an experience! The candle makes the sweetest crackling sound (think fireplace but on a much lighter scale. These candles burned beautifully and looked farmhouse perfect in their cute amber jars. The three scents were amazing. Like I can't help wanting to sniff them - ALL.THE.TIME!!!
Tennessee Christmas truly smells like Christmas to me. Like ornaments, the christmas tree and a bit of sweet. This is the exact scent I want to smell on Christmas morning because it smells like my house did growing up on Christmas Day.
Gathering is the perfect fall/Thanksgiving scent. The citrus and deep clove have a spicy scent. Reminding me of simmering oranges on top of our fireplace growing up. Very nostalgic to me!
With Extra Whip is simply the perfect chocolate candle. The peppermint brings out the chocolate adn there is a hint of vanilla there. Food scented candles are my favorite and chocolate is hard to do well and Amber Vale nailed it with this one!!
I loved these candles and one lucky reader will win a set of their own. I'd also like to mention that this sampler is a great set to give to one person or you could break it up into three separate gifts (think teacher gifts) at $20 for the set this is a great gift idea - these are truly high quality I can't believe they are so affordable!!
