Holiday Gift Guide: Tea Advent from Adagio

Do you treat yourself over the holidays? I have to admit that I've really come to love treating myself to some self-care type items. My favorite forms of self-care revolve around face masks, deep conditioning hair treatments, colorstreet nails, bath salts, good books and TEA! Yes, tea has become a huge part of my daily self-care. Not just any tea either. I like the good stuff. Real tea leaves, rich bold flavors. There is nothing like a cup of hot tea with a dash of honey to sooth my soul!

I think my obsession with tea stems from my mother. She was not a coffee drinker that was my father. He woke up and percolated his pot daily. No, my mother had an old fashion kettle on the stove and that whistle would wake me for the day. She liked your basic tea bags from the grocery store with a spoon of sugar. I have to believe that would have evolved over the years but sadly she passed when I was 17 years old. Thankfully the memories of tea stayed with me and I enjoy some of the same traditions.

Speaking of traditions, each Christmas morning we were not allowed to start present time until Mommy had her cup of tea. I remember it took forever for that kettle to whistle! I do the same thing to my kids. Of course I realize that just bought my parents some time to wake up but I love sipping my tea and watching the kids with all the excitement.

When Adagio reached out to see if I would like to sample two of their holiday sets I was more than willing.  Good tea within a beautiful package! I was all in!

The Tea Advent has 24 days of tea in a traditional Advent calendar style! How fun to open your little window and see what treat you will get.

Adagio has so many wonderful gifts as well! Be sure check out their entire seasonal selection!
