Nothing is harder for new parents then to have a baby with colic.  We had that with our second and it was quite a nightmare. My husband and I walked the halls all night taking turns until we finally would get the little one settled.  Thankfully my other two children did not suffer from that (and I'm hoping this new little guy doesn't either.)  One of the things we used with our youngest son was Colief - to help prevent discomfort.

When people talk about pregnancy mostly we hear about the GLOW. Well, there is another side that people forget or just don't tell new moms-to-be - the MORNING SICKNESS!  That name is a joke in itself because morning sickness can hit any time of day. My little guy will turn five in November which means he misses our states cut off for Kindergarten. Baby Update! 27 Weeks!

We are still cooking our little boy! I'm am now 27 weeks! This time is flying by! I've never gone to the full 40 weeks so baby will be here in 12 weeks or LESS!  EEK!

Last week I had an anatomy scan.  You go more often when your *ahem* Advanced Maternal Age. (Just LOVING that term!) This time they were checking the face because they couldn't get see it last time.  Thankfully baby boy cooperated this time because I have some awesome pictures to share with you!

What more could a reader want then a story about a handsome Naval Officer? Talk about perfect summer read!  In this book we meet sweet Mary who doesn't like to have any attention focused on her.  She has some baggage from the past that makes her tend to just fade in the background.  Then comes Jim, he too has his own baggage and tends to just 'float' along to not rock the waters.

This was really a good book.  There is a mystery needing solving and Jim faces some hard adventures on the seas - both keep you wanting to read more.  I loved the slow romance, it took awhile for romance to bud.  I'm looking forward to additional books in this series!

I had the pleasure of reading Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Beth K. Vogt this summer.  I have to tell you THIS is what summer reading should be!  Fun, fast, romantic trials!  It had it all!!!  We meet Vanessa as she is about to plan her destination wedding - only her fiance wants it at the same place she lived with her previous husband!  Vanessa has to go back to the town where friends know her and plan out a new wedding when of course who would be at the same destination then her ex-husband.  You can imagine the scenario!  Never expecting to see each other is awkward and fiery at the same time.  Are they really over each other? Are the able to make amends with the past?  Crazy events keep pulling them together - seriously this was a FUN FUN FUN read!
